Windows 10: hotspot over 6ghz?

Hi guys, does anyone know if Windows 10 supports sending hotspot over 6ghz?

6GHz network problem

Hello,

I'm facing an issue with my computer's Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX211 160MHz, which fails to detect the 6GHz network.

Despite trying all suggestions from Dell, Intel, Windows support, and ASUS router support, my computer can only identify the 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks.

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Possible to force 6e hotspot in windows 11?

Purchased a mini PC with 6e (AMD rx608) capability in order to generate a stable 6GHz hotspot in crowded wifi environments. In setting the hotspot up I'm given three options, 2.4, 5, or Any available where I expected the 6GHz band as an option.

Is there a way to enable the 6GHz band as an option or force the hotspot to use that band?

OS specs - Win11Pro - 22000.613

US region.

AMD Ryzen 4000 64

Mobile Hotspot

We appreciate that you have tried the suggested steps above. Have you tried to connect other devices to the mobile hotspot on your PC?

Since the issue is still the same, we suggest that you uninstall/reinstall the network adapter driver and check if this will resolve the issue. Follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Locate for Network adaptor and click on it expand it.
  
• 
  Right click on the device and click on
  uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you are done uninstalling the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the generic network adapter driver.
  

We can also update the network adapter driver. Skip step 3 from the above steps and right click on the device and click on update.
