Windows 10: Offical HP Synaptic Mouse Driver doesnt support my mouse

There has been a problem with my synaptics mouse driver upload which I downloaded off the official hp website. It doesnt support my mouse drivers as it asks for Synaptics HIDCLASS as you can see below.My mouse driver is a PS/2 Compatible Mouse while the installer asks for a different mouse driver which I do not have.It is not a hardware issue as I have connected the touchpad numerous times. Please tell me if I was meant to download the synaptics hidclass mouse driver in order for this work otherwise tell me the problem.

Try Uninstalling your device first, restart and then Install again.

Step 1:

• Open device manager by right clicking This PC and select Manage. On the left pane, click the same.
• Under Mouse and pointing devices, right click the synaptics driver and click Uninstall.

Step 2:

Restart when prompted. Remember, Restart!

Step 3:

Install the synaptics driver again using the setup utility provided by the manufacturer

 

how do I stop windows 10 1903 from updating synaptics mouse driver

I did the steps in the link and it worked well. So I went ahead and let windows update and I'm back to have no clickpad, or so it says, and no way to turn it off either as it installed the new mouse driver that made me do a system restore in the first place. Now I don't know what to do. In the device manager it only shows a mouse, no click pad. When I got to settings it also says there is no clickpad. I had done a system restore and put that back before I did the steps in the link you posted.
