Windows 10: Headphones are plugged into desktop but are not at all being recognised

Discus and support Headphones are plugged into desktop but are not at all being recognised in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have ensured sound drivers are up to date, everything is properly connected etc. I cannot troubleshoot anything because it doesn't even recognise...     Headphones are plugged into desktop but are not at all being recognised


    I have ensured sound drivers are up to date, everything is properly connected etc. I cannot troubleshoot anything because it doesn't even recognise that the headphones are connected. It is a 2-pin HyperX headset, with a different computer I just plugged it in and it worked. But this specific desktop it is not working. Never gets recognised by the PC so doing win+X and updating drivers or troubleshooting doesn't do anything, because it fundamentally cannot do anything.
