Windows 10: Windows 11 - Hypervisor causing PC crash

When gaming, my PC has been crashing. My monitor goes black and my GPU fans start to spin at max speed, but the PC remains on and I can still hear audio for a few seconds. I have to manually turn off and restart my PC. I looked at Windows event viewer, and I am getting the Kernel-power 41 error at the same time points as the following errors:Event 124 Kernel-boot: The virtualization-based security enablement policy check at phase 0 failed with status: Virtual Secure Mode VSM is not initialized. The hypervisor or VSM may not be present or enabled.Event 42: Hypervisor launch failed;&

Windows 11 Crashes Apparently Caused by Agent Ransack.

Windows 11 is apparently crashing due to Agent Ransack, refer following.

Can you please provide any suggestions etc?



A summary follows;

1. I have not observed a crash if Agent Ransack is not in use,
   
2. An increase of virtual memory, refer following, apparently assisted, though crashes still occur,
   
3. The crashes apparently only occur if both: searching with Agent Ransack, and using Windows Media Center;
   
   1. The same search without Windows Media Center apparently does not crash,
      
   2. Yes, Windows Media Center – I have not found a suitable alternative, and
      
   3. I experienced only one crash, despite “thousands” of searches using both: Windows 10, and Windows Media Centre; on another computer.
      
4. I have updated to the latest revision of Agent Ransack,
   
5. The crash’s likelihood is apparently related to search’s character length,
   
6. I have access to a computer with Windows 10 that successfully completes a search that causes Windows 11 to crash, and
   
7. I unsuccessfully trialled changing the hard drive being searched,
   

The crash errors include the following:

1. Kernel mode heap corruption
   
2. Bad pool caller, and
   
3. Page in non page area.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

Hyper-V-Hypervisor crash my PC when launching

Hello,

I'm encountering an issue regarding the new PC I bought, there is some strange comportments I don't understand.

At least once a day, my PC crash, I have a black screen with the sound playing, then the sound freeze and the PC reboot.

Looking in the event manager, at the time of the crash I see the start of Hyper-V-Hypervisor. some other logs about it like correcting CVE-2019-11091, CVE-2018-12126, CVE-2018-12127, CVE-2018-12130, then a warning "The hypervisor has not enabled mitigations for side-channel vulnerabilities for virtual machines because HyperThreading is enabled. To enable mitigations for virtual machines, disable HyperThreading." and two second after this "The system has restarted without shutting down properly first. This error can occur if the system becomes unresponsive, crashes or unexpectedly loses power."

Between them I have two volgmr error "Failed to create the memory image file due to an error while creating the image."

It seems to me Hyper-V-Hypervisor is about VM, but I'm not using any VM on my PC, why is it starting it?

When I try the command dism.exe /Online /Disable-Feature:Microsoft-Hyper-V to disable Hyper-V-Hypervisor I have the error 0x800f080c meaning Hyper-V-Hypervisor is not installed. Why does it start if it is not installed?

Each crash is preceded of the "Hyper-V-Hypervisor is starting" log, and each "Hyper-V-Hypervisor is starting" is followed by a crash.

Could you help me?
