    Hidden folders containing Chinese notepads and PDFs; in Desktop, Drives F and E virus!?


    I got access to hidden folders to look around, but I've found something abnormal.There are some folders with random names; Containing some zip files, notepad files, PDFs, and word documents, having weird names just as the folder.Although I couldn't read or access those PDF or Word files, I could open notepad files. But there were nothing but meaning less Chinese letters and symbols!That felt suspicious so I tried deleting them, but suddenly my antivirus treated File Browser as some kind of malware, which didn't make sense to me at all.Even I somehow deleted one folder which required me admin

    "MyLove_files" Folder On Desktop...is it related to a virus?

    HI, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    It sounds like some web page that was downloaded to your Desktop and that folder contains the files for the downloaded HTML file, a virus would not put a folder on your Desktop, because a virus tries to stay hidden

    Open the folder, then set view to List

    Please provide a screenshot of the contents of that folder.

    Hidden folders

    I installed `Kane and Lynch` on my PC twice in Program Files(x86) folder but I can`t find them (2 folders with game). But free space on my HDD is lower. So there`re those folders on my hdd. I use option `unhide` hidden folders but still can`t find them. Any suggestions? How can i delete those hidden folders?

    When I run istallation for this game I can see those folders in Program Files(x86) folde.

    I`m using Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

    Unable To Unhide Hidden Folders

    Folder is hidden & hidden check mark is disabled in my USB pendrive.

    I scanned with antivirus and now no virus in pendrive though all my files are hidden and they have shortcuts of folder visible, if i nned to enter in folder, i need to enter fila path manually.

    any solution?
