Windows 10: Suddenly my system made major changes I did not do!

My taskbar is goneThe appearance in Excel and Word are now black and white only with no color with the exception here of the Microsoft Logo have color in it. "Community", "Buy Microsoft 365" are in Blue Font while everything else on the page is black and white. I do know that a new update was recently installed sometime between yesterday and today. but I had been working in my system when suddenly all of these changes I outlined above popped in. What went wrong? How do I get back to my system.I am trying to remember what I was doing but unfortunately I cannot see the taskbar so much is mis

Windows 10 Slideshow causing major system lag

May I know the make and the model number of the system?

Which build version of Windows is installed on the computer?



This issue could be caused when the drivers are not up to date after a hardware changes, you can try the troubleshooting steps below so that we can narrow down to the root cause of the issue.



Method 1: Update graphics driver.

1. I suggest you to
   update graphics drive from device manager and check, to find the graphics driver from device manager, you can expand the
   display adapters from the device manager.
   
2. I would also suggest you to check if there are any other drivers with a yellow exclamation mark, if so, please update the specific drivers by following the steps provided in the article above.
   
3. You can also try to put the system under
   High Performance and check if that helps you, do to that you can.
   

1. Click on Start and then
   Control Panel.
   
2. From the list of displayed item under
   Control Panel click on Power Options, which takes you to
   Select a power plan page. If you do not see
   Power Options, type the word 'power' in the Search Control Panel
   box and then select Choose a power plan.
   
3. By default, the option to change power plans is disabled. To enable this, click the
   Change settings that are currently unavailable link.
   
4. Choose theHigh Performance
   option
   
5. Close the Power Option
   window.

Backspace and Enter suddenly stopped working

we will look into this for you. To get clarity of this issue and assist you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, kindly reply with the answers to the questions below.

1. May I know the make and model of the system?
   
2. Was there any major change on your system, prior to this issue?
   
3. Which version of Windows is running on your PC?
   
4. Do you have any other language packs installed on your system?
   

I suggest you to check for the language pack installed on your computer, if you have a different language pack installed, I recommend you to change the language to English (United States), follow the below steps, and check if that
helps.

Step: Changing system language.

1. Open Settings.
   
2. Click on Time & Language.
   
3. Click on Region & language.
   
4. Under "Languages," check the language pack that you have selected.
   
5. Press Windows key
   and Space bar toggles keyboard layout.
   
6. Change to default keyboard layout, and check if the issue still persists.
