    How to clear files in OneDrive recent


    How can I remove files from OneDrive recent? I have one file in OneNote that when I click on it, it opens a popup and I don't use OneNote and don't have that file on my laptop. It is also not shown in any of the other OneDrive folders, only in the Home folder.Thanks

    Windows 11 not clearing recent files

    Okay, did that... the recent files listed related to the work SharePoint site and the OneDrive account no longer show.

    However, I still can't clear out the old recent files listed connected to my own personal OneDrive account... would rather not have to saving my data then doing a restore JUST to clear the recent file list. There's got to be an easier way.

    you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

    or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

    When I right click at Windows 10 File Explorer icon on taskbar it shows me pinned and recent items. How to clear the recent list? I tried turning off setting "Show recently opened items in Jump list on Start or the taskbar", and clearing history in file
    explorer under folder options. Nothing worked, list is still there.
