Windows 10: I want to completely remove and stop "Gaming Services" from running in the background.

This question was asked but the thread was locked. With no answer!I wont to remove "completely" Gaming services from running in the background taking up resources.I have tried to remove it from apps then uninstall; only to find it reinstall itself.I have already done;Get-AppxPackage gaming.services -allusers remove-appxpackage -allusersENTERRemove-Item -Path "HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices" -recurseENTERRESTARTThen ran it again to have it sayRemove-Item: Cannot find path 'HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices' because it does not exist.But The service

Gaming Lag and Background Intelligence Transfer Service (BITS)

Let's try disabling the Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) via Command Prompt by following the steps below:

• Open Command Prompt.
• Run/type msconfig.
• Click on Services tab.
• Remove check mark on Background Intelligent Transfer Service.
• Click on Apply.
• Restart your computer.

You can uninstall the Gaming Services using the Windows Terminal.

1-Right-click on Start then click on Windows Terminal(admin)

2-Paste this command and press Enter:

Get-AppxPackage gaming.services -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

3-In the same window, type the following commands and press Enter:

Remove-Item -Path "HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices" -recurse

4-These commands will completely uninstall the Gaming Services from your computer

5-When finished, reboot your PC for the change to take effect

Games won't launch and run in background.

• What exactly do you mean by games does not run in the background?
• Which are the games you are trying to launch?
• Were you able to see any error code/ error notification while trying to launch the game?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

I would like to inform that the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable x86,
usually occupy 1 GB of the storage space.

I suggest you to run disk cleanup to free the memory: Free up drive space in Windows 10
and check.
