  1. Q and Up Arrow Keys Triggering Unexpected Behavior — Possible Keyboard Issue?

Hello, I'm experiencing some unusual behavior with my keyboard and I'm hoping to get some help. When I press the Q key, it types the letter "q" as expected, but it also causes my cursor the little white line to jump to the beginning of a line or input field. In some games, holding the Q key causes my character to move forward, which is not the expected keybind. Additionally, when I press the comma "," key, it types both a comma and a backslash, like this: ,\ When I press the up arrow key, it seems to trigger both the up arrow function and the Q key at the same time. I’ve tried using a diff

Arrow keys do not work in Tabtib virtual keyboard.

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

What is the make and model of the tablet?

We tried to repro the issue on a lab machine with multiple applications, however the behavior of left and right arrow keys using both Tabtip virtual keyboard and Onscreen keyboard was found to be normal.

The issue could be either due to application limitations or the touch keyboard might be corrupted.

I suggest to try the touch keyboard (tabtip) in other applications and see if the behavior is same. If the issue persists with other applications, you may try using a different keyboard layout and see if it works.

    Regards,

Q and Up Arrow Keys Triggering Unexpected Behavior — Possible Keyboard Issue?

Right arrow key on keyboard enters ALT and DELETE

Thank you for the suggested solutions.

Unfortunately they have not resolved the issue.

After reviewing the on screen keyboard, the right arrow key on the keyboard when pressed is acting as the ALT and DELETE keys.

The right arrow does not function as a right arrow key in the BIOS menu

    either.
