Discus and support Pasted Image In Paint Changes in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have a problem. Let's say I copy a 1600 x 1200 image and paste it into Paint, but when I paste the image, the resolution changes to 1280 x 960. I...     I have a problem. Let's say I copy a 1600 x 1200 image and paste it into Paint, but when I paste the image, the resolution changes to 1280 x 960. I tried going into Settings and repairing and restarting Paint, but it still doesn't work. I found a workaround by pasting the image in Microsoft Word first as is, no Ctrl + V, copying it there, and then pasting it into Paint, and sure enough, the image has the same correct size as the original. It's strange because, before, whenever I copied an image and Ctrl + V pasted onto Paint, the image was fine, but now it's like this. I don't want to have t

    1. I do [print screen] on a window [ALT/PrintScreen]

    2. Paste to Paint - it comes 15% less in size

    3. Paste to MS Word - it comes in 100% of a size

    Paint was working fine for 15 years, until a month ago..

    Pasting image into Paint

    After recent Windows update, Microsoft Paint started pasting images from clipboard in reduced size/quality. Pasting the same image from the clipboard into Word document - pasts normal.

    I have been using Paint for 15 years every day, and only recently I ran into this problem.

    I am using Windows 10.



    If needed I can provide screenshot. Please tell me how?
