Windows 10: HDR issue, can't enable despite support

Hello!So, I have an issue that I sadly haven't found any solution for online. I have a 4k TV hooked up to my PC and my TV has HDR support. In the settings at the display capabilities it that "Use HDR" is supported but "HDR video streaming" is not. Now, when I try to turn on the HDR switch, my screen will flicker for a second as to readjust but then revert back to normal and the switch is off again immediatly. I cannot at all turn it on and I am fairly certain that I am using the right HDMI port.Now, generally that wouldn't be half bad, I could just keep it off, right? Yeah well, it becomes an

Unable to enable HDR

Thank you for letting me know about the concern, I hope you are doing well today.

I truly understand you really like enable HDR of your computer. The possible cause why it’s not working maybe your PC and display doesn’t meet certain hardware requirements.

I suggest to update your windows first, please follow the steps below:

• Start > and then go to Setting > Update & Security > Windows Update

HDR is not supported

I can only suggest you contact Lenovo support to verify which driver package you should be using so that HDR is enabled for this device.

I would contact LG Support which is included with the monitor purchase for at least the first year, during which they must get it working properly or repair or replace it under warranty.
