    It's simply disgusting and disgraceful that Microsoft continues to make updates that ruin and damage our ability to use our computers efficiently. There are millions of users who prefer to view files as LIST VIEW when hovering over taskbar preview, instead of SUPER INEFFICIENT THUMBNAIL ICONS that are arranged horizontally and you can barely see the file name. It's so absurd and disgusting, who is managing these things? There used to be a workaround via regedit NUMBTHUMBNAILS, but your new windows update has disabled that. Please for once do something right and show you value the customer by r

    Disable Taskbar Thumbnail Preview?

    Hey there,

    I was just searching the internet for ways to disable the Taskbar Thumbnail Preview in Windows 10, and I found one that half-worked (only some apps use list view instead of thumbnails). I was wondering if there was a way to completely disable the preview?
    I am alright editing the registry.

    List view not show


    Win10 1803 *.ico files no longer display in list view ["Always show icons, never thumbnails" is checked]. In windows 7 I have no problem when thumbnails is disabled [I could view icons in list view...]. Default app for .ico file type is set to Photos App.
