Windows 10: Why IIS Manager cannot be accessed using public IP after running continuously

Can anyone help figure out why the IIS Manager becomes inaccessible when accessed using public IP after running for a long time. At times, it can recover itself and become accessible without doing anything but there are instances when rebooting the PC is required in order for the IIS Manager to be accessible. None of these issue happen when the IIS Manager is accessed through its local IP.

Cannot Access Website Hosted on IIS from External IP/ Internet.

I have hosted a website on IIS, Its working fine on my Localhost, I can even access it from other machines(Laptop/Mobile) connected on my wifi. But i am unable to access it from Internet( My public IP).

Things I have done :

1) Binded the site to available IP (It is IPv4 of machine on which it is hosted).

2) I have forwarded PORT 81 from my router, as i am using port 81.(TCP)

3) World Wide Web Services are enabled from "Turn Windows Featured On or Off".

4) WWW/HTTP services are allowed from Windows Firewall. Also tried turning off firewall completely. [Anti Virus i am using- Windows Defender]

5) Also tried setting up an Inbound rule for port 81.

6) Got my public IP from "http://whatismyipaddress.com/"

What i wanted to do :

I want to access the hosted website from my public IP, Just like its working on my local network.

What i think is i am not configuring the network or ports correctly [Just a thought, it could be wrong].

i am new to this so didn't know where i went wrong or what steps i missed. Kindly guide me configuring it.

Public Wifi connected, no internet access

As you are unable to access the public Wi-Fi on your laptop, do not worry we will help you with this issue.

Provide us additional information to assist you better with this issue:

• What is the make and model of your device?
• What is the complete error message/ error code of this issue?
• Were you able to connect to any other Wi-Fi connection from your laptop?

This issue might have occurred due to network adapter driver issues and network services. Let us try few of the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to check if the Airplane mode is turned on. If so turn it off and check.

  Press Windows key, click on
  Settings from the left pane.

  Click on Network & Internet.
  
• 
  Under Airplane mode turn it off and check.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to check if
Network Adapter is enabled in Device Manager.

• 
  Press Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand Network Adapter.
  
• 
  Right click on adapter driver, click on Properties.
  
• 
  Click on Driver tab and Enable the driver.
  

Step 3: Run Network Adapter troubleshooter

Network Adapter troubleshooter find and fix the problems with wireless and other Network Adapter.

  Click on Start; in the start search type
  Troubleshooter and hit Enter.
  
• 
  In the left pane, click on View all.
  
• 
  Click on Network Adapter Troubleshooter.
  
• 
  Select Advance and click on
  Run as Administrator.
  
• 
  Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.
