Windows 10: Did a system reset with a Windows 10 laptop—now I can’t sign into my admin account

I just graduated from school and as part of the process they had me create a local admin account, make sure I could sign in with it, then do a system reset to remove the org image. After doing that choosing the keep personal files option I can no longer sign into the computer with either that admin account I’ve tried prefacing it with ./ or my org account. Tried it in safe mode with no luck. I don’t have a password key usb or anything, but I do have the device recovery key. How can I get back into the computer or at least get the personal files that were supposed to have been kept? Compute

There's no need to reset the laptop. Simply create a new user account for you, change its account type to administrator (all new accounts after the first initial one are standard accounts when created), sign out from the original account, sign in to your new account and finally remove the original account. Takes a few minutes, much faster than a full reset.

How to change admin user account name?

ah so main admin account is 'wizzle' which is what I am currently on
I make another account called 'wizzle2' (with admin rights)
I sign out of 'wizzle' and sign into 'wizzle2'.
And once signed into 'wizzle2', then I do the command prompt step and find the SID for 'wizzle' that is listed and go from there?
