Windows 10: Microsoft Family app cannot stop my kids install apps

My computer is Win11 home version. I created account for my kids. Then in Settings/App / Advanced Settings, I selected 'Only allow software installation from Microsoft Store Recommended'. And I also installed Microsoft Family to monitor my kid's activity. I only allow them to use Edge browser. Because Microsoft Family cannot show which website they visited if they use other browsers.But I found they can still install software by themselves. They installed various browser software or gaming sofware. And Microsoft Family shows which app has been used. It's very strange, there are many rows of

Microsoft Family Safety app blocking not reliable

I have a Windows 10 tablet for my kid. I have it setup through Microsoft Family Safety such that certain app is blocked. I tested it and it worked. However, I found out that my kid can simply bypass the protection by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Am I doing it wrong?

Microsoft Family Safety is a free parental monitoring app to help make it easier to keep your kids safe online. With Family Safety, you can give them some independence but still keep tabs on their computer activities. Family Safety allows you to:

• See which websites your kids have visited, and which apps and games they’ve used
• Block or allow websites, apps, games, or other content.
• Limit the amount of time they can spend on the PC
