Windows 10: Windows update failing with the error "Install error - 0x8007001f"

Windows update is failing with "Install error - 0x8007001f" and then it retries every-time, prompting me to force restart my laptop over and over again, I tried to install the update from the windows update installation assistant but I am getting the same issue there also.

Based on the logs you've provided, it seems that one of the possible cause why you cannot install Windows 10 Creators Update is your antivirus. In the meantime, we suggest disabling your antivirus, then try to install the update again.

I followed the steps but I got the same error message as I got when I tried the suggestion of DaveM121 -- 0x8007001F-0x20006

The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during the REPLICATE_OC operation.

Diagnosing upgrade failures is proving next to impossible- there are threads running on for days looking at the log files- which you are free to do of course.

Windows 10 Update keeps failing with error 0x8007001f - 0x20006

Standard preparatory recommendations include checking the disk, running chkdsk, uninstalling 3rd party security, checking for free space. I assume you've done that.

I assume SP1 is installed at least- that's a requirement.

I don't know how you initiated the upgrade: sometimes may help if you perform a clean boot, then manually upgrade using the iso file without choosing to accept updates.
