    HP Smart installing itself on my laptop Windows 11


    HP Smart installed itself on my laptop this morning. This App has caused many problems in the past and I do not want it. Fortunately, I had notification from Norton when it happened this time and could quickly uninstall the App. I read on the Q&As that the bug allowing this to happen had been fixed last year. Apparently not. Is a real fix in the pipeline?

    HP Stream 11 under Windows 10 - Touchpad not recognized.

    Are you making sure you are trying the correct driver for the WiFi... They list Broadcom, Intel, and/or Realtek.

    Also, try to run the installer as an administrator install.

    If that fails... try extracting the files and manually install the driver.
