Windows 10: entry in edit group policy doesnt seem to work

Discus and support entry in edit group policy doesnt seem to work in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I made an entry in edit group policy selecting "dont run program etc etc " under admin/ system and selected a program ccleaner, But cceaner still...     entry in edit group policy doesnt seem to work


    I made an entry in edit group policy selecting "dont run program etc etc " under admin/ system and selected a program ccleaner, But cceaner still starts and the setting doesn't seem to be working. I run it as admin

    Edit Group Policy

    Group Policy is only available in the Pro, Enterprise and Education versions of Windows, if you have Windows 11 Home or Home Single Language, the Group Policy utility does not exist in that edition and it cannot be added to it.

    GROUP POLICIES IN WINDOWS 10

    You can change Group Policies by opening Group Policy Editor first. You can open it by following these steps:

    • Log in an administrator account. If you are already logged in as an administrator, proceed to step 2.
    • Press Windows + R to open Run.
    • Type gpedit.msc and press Enter.

    After opening Group Policy Editor, you can now make the necessary changes that you want.
