Windows 10: Why does my mic keep getting muted or cut off.

like i always have to unplug and plug it back in. Idk what to do anymore its getting anooying.

Mic gets muted/disabled automatically.

Hi Team,

We have an issue on Windows 10 and 11 Pro x64-bit OS wherein Mic gets muted or disabled automatically. It happens randomly and user doesn't disable/mute the Mic. It happens automatically. Can we find out from event logs as to why Mic gets muted/disabled automatically?

 

Weird Mic muted icon, mutes mic (Logitech software maybe?)


Having this weird problem. A number of days ago, I started seeing a muted mic icon in both the systray and the upper left corner on my desktop. I'm not sure how I'm triggering this but it mutes the mic and freaks out Voicemeter. I cannot right click or find any options for it. Seems to be related to logioptionsplus_agent.exe Logi Options +Agent. When I kill it in task manager, the icons disappear but I can't get the mic back. Any ideas? Version 10.0.19044 Build 19044 - - - Updated - - - eh, I figured it out. There is a mic mute button on my mx mini keyboard I must have hit. It saves the setting unless you turn it off so when you launch Logi Options it will always be muted. It also really screws up Voicemeter, I had to remove and reinstall it all.

 

Windows 10 Muting Mic

Ever since the update 3 weeks ago for some odd reason windows 10 keeps muting my mic... I have followed steps to fix the problem.. I also took it in to have drivers updated etc have a tune up and they couldnt get it to stop muting... Need help
