Windows 10: Windows 11 Activation Error 0x803fa067 After Hardware Change Retail Key

Hello,I purchased a Windows 10 Home Retail license from the Microsoft Store a few years ago. I later upgraded that same machine to Windows 11 Home without any issues.Recently, I replaced the motherboard and CPU, reinstalled Windows 11 Home using the same SSD, and now I can’t activate Windows.When I try to enter the product key, 0x803fa067 error code is shown and the message says that I don't have a valid digital license or product key.I tried to use "I changed hardware on this device recently", but there is an error: "These devices were registered with a version of Windows 10 that does not sup

Activation error 0x803fa067 after hardware upgrade

I recently upgraded my hardware and am trying to reactivate Windows 10 on a new computer. Getting an 0x803fa067 error.

I originally purchased a Windows 8 license online on the old computer, which got upgraded to Windows 10 for free. I got the key to display on the old computer and associated it with my Microsoft account, then tried to activate it on the new computer both
through the Troubleshooter and manually. The error is the same every time.

I ran slmgr.vbs /dlv and took a screenshot as suggested in a similar thread:





This seems to suggest the key is indeed genuine and retail, not OEM - correct me if I'm wrong. What can I do?

 

Cannot Activate Windows 10 after Hardware Change

I recently changed motherboard and processor and did a clean install of Windows 10 Pro.

I am now unable to activate windows. I have tried the following methods:

• Entered product key directly
• Used the activation troubleshooter
• Attempted the "changed hardware recently" option and signed in to microsoft account

When entering the product key directly, I get the following error code: 0x803fa067

Product ID: 00330-80000-00000-AA018 (check below something strange I just noticed)

Can't activate Windows bc you don't have a valid key yadda yadda Error Code: 0x803fa067

First pass at the troubleshooter lands me a "Can't activate windows in this device"

So I go to "I have recently changed my hardware"

And even though I'm logged in with a MSFT account, I can't find my current device on that list, only my, now deceased Gygabite MB's desktop

Funny thing - at the bottom of slui I get this weird conflict of info:

"The last product key (ID: 00330-80000-00000-AA641) that you inserted can't be used in this copy of Windows. (0x803fa067)"

Could that product ID last 3 digit conflict something?

Where could I check those IDs to see what's catching?

(my OS is in Portuguese, the prompts/messages may vary in the verbiage...)
