Windows 10: Can't change/update my info without authenticator app

    Can't change/update my info without authenticator app


    My laptop was stolen, I jumped through the account recovery hoops and changed my password but I can't change or update my info like my phone number or add a recovery email. When I try to my only option is the authenticator app which I don't have. I tried setting up the authenticator app months ago for this very reason but it wouldn't let me because it needed verification from the same app I was trying to set up. Like what the **** is going on? The account recovery process I nailed that info down and got the change password email in a few minutes but I still can't update my info. My options are
