I've had a persistent malware issue maybe Emotet? I say Emotet because in all of the Malwarebytes and other virus scans I've done over several months, only once did I get a dialog box indicating that there were "traces" of Emotet. I fear I have a bad case because I have reinstalled Windows, fully cleaned my drive and used every suggestion from changing registry keys that have keep creating shares of all my folders to Group Policy. It seems the more I do, the harder it fights back, sometimes denying access to Windows tools. What I have not tried that seems to work for so many in this comm

  2. How do I produce a fixlist for FRST?

I've only just realized that some malware is deleting the windows update services every time I start my pc. This is preventing me from updating my pc and I'm trying to use FRST to remove the malware. Would anyone be able to explain to me what the fixlist is and how I make one?

  3. How do i run FRST.64

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

It seems like you are referring to Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST). To run FRST on a 64-bit system, you can follow these steps:

    1. Download the FRST tool from a trusted source.
    2. Right-click on the FRST executable file (FRST64.exe) and select "Run as administrator" to launch the tool with elevated privileges.
    3. When the tool opens, click on the "Scan" button to initiate a scan of your system.
    4. After the scan is complete, FRST may generate a Fixlist.txt file that contains instructions for fixing issues found during the scan.
    5. If you are prompted to provide a Fixlist, you can review the contents of the file and decide whether you want to proceed with the suggested fixes.
    6. To apply the fixes, click on the "Fix" button in FRST.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.

    Best regards
