  2. I am not able to uninstall PowerToys from my system.

    Hello Kevin

I installed PowerToys via Microsoft Store. There are other ways and more information listed here, out of which I chose Microsoft Store.

However, whenever I try to uninstall it, it leads me to the Control Panel, which, as I said earlier, doesn't show PowerToys in its list. I am confused because I tried these same steps on my other Microsoft Store applications, and your steps seem to be perfectly applicable to these applications.

    Problem with powerToys v 0.70

    Hi, G170

    Welcome to the MicroSoft Community.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with PowerToys v0.70. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Uninstall PowerToys: Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, find PowerToys in the list, and click Uninstall. If you can't find it or can't uninstall it, don't worry, just proceed to the next step.

    2. Cleanup PowerToys files: Navigate to the following directories and delete any remaining PowerToys files:

Replace YourUsername with your actual username.

    3. Clean up the Registry: Press Win + R, type regedit, and press Enter to open the Registry Editor. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\PowerToys and delete the PowerToys key. Be careful when editing the Registry as it can affect your system's stability if not done correctly.

Disclaimer: Generally, modifying registry subkeys or work group is intended for advanced users, administrators, and IT Professionals. It can help fix some problems; however, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For further protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click How to back up and restore the registry in Windows - Microsoft Support to view the article.

    4. Reinstall PowerToys: Download the latest version of PowerToys from the official GitHub page and install it.

If you're still having trouble, you might want to consider reaching out to the PowerToys community on GitHub for further assistance. They might be able to provide more specific guidance based on your situation. If there is anything not clear or I can't understand your problem, please do not hesitate to let me know.
