Windows 10: My Son’s Microsoft Account Was Hacked and Deleted

Dear Support Team,My son’s Microsoft account was hacked and then deleted yesterday. When we try to recover the account using the official recovery form https://account.live.com/acsr, we receive the error: “The Microsoft account you’ve entered does not exist,” so we are unable to proceed.We are certain the account was hacked because an unknown email address *** Email address is removed for privacy *** is now listed under our Family Safety settings, instead of our original email *** Email address is removed for privacy *** – both emails are just an example.Currently, we cannot sign in or use any recovery options, as the system says the accou

my sons account has been hacked

my sons account has been hacked and they have changed his email so when trying reset the password its telling us that no account with that email. phoning Microsoft the automated message tells us support has moved online following that link and then typing in my sons email comes back with there is no Microsoft account that that name.

This is ridiculous, kinda a catch 22 situation, cannot log in to get support, cannot phone someone to get support

Anyone have any suggestions?

You might check using step 3 in Option Two of the tutorial below to see if your son's email is listed under your "Email & app accounts". If so, deleting it will remove it.
