  1. Device PIN Recovery Issue

Hello, I have lost the PIN to my device. The built-in option to recover/reset PIN does not work - it says it will send a code to my email, however no email has ever arrived. I have tried to start the device in Safe Mode, but since it's a handheld console it does not have a keyboard and my wireless keyboard is not recognized. What are other ways to recover or reset the PIN code to the device? I have another device connected to that Microsoft account - does that help? Is there a way to pick another login method on the login screen?Kind regards,Denis

    :)

  2. OSK PIN login on non-touch device

    Hello,

I suggest you to create a PIN for your device and try the on screen keyboard to login to the same.

You may follow the steps below to create PIN protection for your device.

    • Go to Settings and select account.

    • Click on sign in option and Go to PIN option.

    • Now click on Add and set PIN for login.

You can use the same PIN to login to your device using the on screen Keyboard from ease of access option and verify the result.

Please get back to us with updated status. We will be happy to assist you further.

  3. PIN Issues

Hello! My name is Mostafa, and I’m an independent advisor and a long-time Microsoft user.

I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue, and I will try my best to assist you with this so that you find a satisfactory solution.

If you don’t have access to your device and the phone number on the account is no longer in use, you can reset your PIN by following these steps:

    1. Go to account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey on another device and sign in with your Microsoft account.

    2. Enter the recovery key for the device you’re trying to reset.

    3. Select the device you want to reset from the list of devices associated with your Microsoft account.

    4. Follow the instructions to reset your PIN.

The recovery key is a 25-character code that you should have saved when you set up your device.

I hope the above steps helped you. Thank you.

    Best,

    Mostafa
