Windows 10: My Windows preinstalled applications are not working properly

I accidentally removed my own permissions over my user files, which made me unable to sign in on windows, i used my brother's account to change ownership to his account on safe mode and reset the permissions of my user folder and changed the permission back to my user, which allowed me to sign in again but unable to use the windows services/apps, like i cannot set a wallpaper, use phone link, many microsofts preinstalled applications are not working. i think its still related to the permission error. beforehand even the admin terminal for my user didn't start. so i fixed by again changing the

We suggest that you try to run Hardware and Device troubleshooter using the steps below:

• Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter.
• Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
• Click Run the troubleshooter.

We also suggest that you update the keyboard driver and check if it work.

How to remove preinstalled Windows Vista applications?

Yes, lites would work to some extent, however they can be treacherous. I haven't had much luck with installing Service Packs after installing stripped OS.

It really comes down to two things:

Do the preinstalled programs have an install record

If not, what are the consequences of manually deleting them?

I can't see things like Movie Maker or Windows Calender being a threat, however I have read reports of Windows Update failing simply because the Windows Calender could not be addressed.

If these programs were easily obtainable, then one could reinstall them when needed, but to my knowledge they aren't.
