Windows 10: Radeon Graphics is Missing from my Computer

I Have INTEL HD 4000 But it is making my computer AUTORESTART. So i Thought to Radeon Since it Said That i have it but not seen on my computer. AMD Radeon (TM) R5 Graphics and AMD Radeon R7 M260 (R7 missing)

Hello! i got some problems with my HP HP Pavilion 15-p085no (ENERGY STAR) - Windows 10 (64x).

It says i got 2 graphic cards, AMD Radeon (TM) R5 Graphics and AMD Radeon R7 M260, Right now i do not afford new things so trying to run OBS studio and Cubase 13, but the pc start to freeze. So i know R7 is better then R5, In windows 10 64x we can decide what graphic card to use for specefic programs. but here i can only find R5.. PLZ need some help. I did download AMD Radeon software and it is updated.

I did follow this guide

1. Click the Start button, type Graphics settings and then hit Enter.
   
2. Choose between Classic app or Universal app (Windows Store Apps).
   
3. Select desired app and then click Add.
   
4. Select the app from the list and then click Options.
   
5. Set the graphics preference for the app and then click Save to complete.

And as you can see there, I can only select R5.

 

Radeon Switchable Graphics

Ok here is my update: I turned off the driver software installations via system advanced settings. I downloaded and applied the "turn off" regedit for driver updates in Windows Update. I uninstalled the Radeon software that was already installed on my computer. However there was some issues getting it completely uninstalled so I downloaded the Radeon clean uninstaller and completely removed it in safe mode. I then uninstalled each graphic card in device manager making sure I ticked to remove the driver files from the computer that way it would not reinstall it after reboot. There was no greyed out monitors in the monitor section of device manager. Only the one that was currently used. I then rebooted the computer and installed the Radeon 19.1 driver/software you linked in a previous post. It completely installed and I had to restart the computer a couple times. So now inside the Radeon software under switchable graphics I changed the "program" from unassigned to high performance. The only other options was power saving and based on power source. I then ran my program to test and see if it was switching to the R7 graphics card. In dxdiag it was still showing as using the R5 graphics card. So now I don't know what my next steps are. I wish I could just disabled the R5 and make the R7 primary but I don't think I can do that and I don't want to mess anything up. Suggestions? EDIT: Ok the laptop is an HP Pavilion 15z-AW000 and there is a mention on the HP website about updating the driver or something or other and the name of the graphics card changes to something it's not.

 

Issues with Radeon 7400 M graphics in windows 10

Thanks for the post. The problem seems to be from Microsoft . I have followed below steps

• I have downloaded the software Leshcat’s Catalyst 15.7 WHQL UnifL from http://leshcatlabs.net/downloads_unfil/
• I have unistalled all my graphics softwares and drivers related to radeon 7400 M.
  
• The Catalyst 15.7 WHQL UnifL contains both intel and radeon drivers. So install intel drivers and reboot.
• install radeon drivers and reboot.

Now my system seems to be perfectly fine and no issues with drivers. Booting normally with out any issues. I turned on windows update and 7400 M drivers automatically installed from Microsoft.

After the reboot again the same problem. Now I am not sure how can I disable to download only 7400 M updates keeping all other updates on.
