Windows 10: Win 11 status bar, calendar, and notification not opening.

When I always use my laptop Win 11 I can't open the status bar and notification in the taskbarI can only change my volume, wi-fi, and screen brightness in the settings. Right clicking on the icon will lead me to their settings.

Make Outlook show calendar notifications in the Windows 10 notification bar

we can set the account up in Windows Mail app, turning off sync for mail and contacts.

Calendar reminders will use the Windows reminder system and display prominently in the corner of your screen, on top of any open programs.





Please refer to the steps below:

1. Add your Exchange account to Mail app. Win 10 will automatically configure this account on Calendar App too.
   
2. Open Start > Settings > System > Notification&Actions.
   
3. Turn on notifications for Outlook and Calendar but turn off the option for Mail.

Windows 11 - Taskbar notifications/Calendar not opening

Hello,

I'm not sure if it was a recent update or there is something corrupt with my system somewhere, but randomly one day last week the bottom right section of my task bar where you can access your system notifications as well as the small calendar suddenly stopped working. Other items on the taskbar such as background apps, Wifi/sound, all open up except the notifications and calendar. I've tried reinstalling Windows 11, making changes to the registry as previous forums instructed, I've done scans through the command prompt and reinstalling certain things through powershell as also mentioned in previous forums. I feel like I've exhausted most troubleshooting and still have no found a fix.

Any suggestions are welcomed

 

Unable to view status bar

  Are you able to access other icons on the task bar?

  Did you turned off, system icon?
  

This might occur when the system icon is turned off.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Type Settings in the search area on the task bar and select
  Settings.
  
• 
  Select the System option.
  
• 
  Select Notification and action center.
  
• 
  Select Turn on/off system icon.
  
• 
  Turn on the icon which you want to view on your status bar.
