Windows 10: My Windows 11 pc just wiped everything away, wasnt even updated last night but still.

I'm a 11 year old kid, my Windows 11 pc nobody else uses so i dont guess someone INTENTIONALLY did that or you say laptop, from HP India, wiped my desktop icons and some of the MAIN APPS i used occassionally like DaVinci Resolve, CMCLIENT, Badlion, etc. And my heartbeat! "Discord". Im literally crying now i dont know what to do i had to do the setup again and no viruses came im sure because playing minecraft last night doesnt do anything. My fingers pain andwer fast please///...EDIT: It also wiped away my minecraft versions installed im gonna screw it it was my 11month old pc im like i cant

Night Light settings reset at midnight and PC restart

My Night Light appears to reset when I restart my PC, or when the time passes midnight as it:

• Turns off the Night Light
  
• My schedule night light settings get wiped to the default
  

This started happening sometime last week, definitely since the latest large update. I have Windows 10, and no pending updates.

 

F.lux and night do not work any longer

We understand the inconvenience caused to you, as you are unable to use F.lux app and night light feature on your PC.

We would like to inform you that, we are aware of the Night Light issue and working on it to resolve it as soon as possible.

However, we have a workaround for this, and the workaround is to restart the PC. I would also suggest you to keep your PC updated by using Windows Update to make sure you receive all the latest updates and fixes.

In regards to F.lux app not working, we would suggest you to perform the steps mentioned below.

1. Press Windows +I key from the keyboard to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps, Select Apps & feature from the left pane.
   
3. Search for F.lex app in the list and click on it, then select
   Advanced options.
   
4. Then click on Reset and then restart the PC and check if the issue persist.

Why did a update wipe my computer clean last night?

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

I am sorry to know that system was wiped after an update.

• Which update did you install (Windows update or any other update)?
• When you say wipe my clean computer, did it uninstall the Windows or did it go back to previous version or did it reset/restore the system?

If it was due to Windows updates, then I suggest you to try restoring the system and check. Restore option takes your PC back to an earlier point in time, called a system restore point. Restore points are generated when you install a new app, driver, or
Windows update, and when you
create a restore point manually. Restoring won’t affect your personal files, but it will remove apps, drivers, and updates installed after the restore point was made.
