Windows 10: Auto Mute issue when I wake up my HP laptop.

I have an audio issue with my HP laptop. I currently have my laptop connected to my TV with an HDMI cable obviously my tv isnt very smart so the audio is being played through the Display Audio Driver and every time I wake up or unlock the laptop the audio goes back to being muted and I cant figure out why. I have gone through all of the audio setting and I cant seem to find where this can be changed. Any ideas? I know it doesnt seem like that big of an issue but it gets to be really inconvenient. Also, I am using a wireless keyboard and the function keys that are supposed to control volume-

Auto mute when turn on laptop

Hi,

Usually my laptop is auto muted when turning on. However, yesterday I installed a new SSD drive to my laptop and now the auto mute is not there anymore. Even if I mute the speaker, when I turn the laptop on after it goes in sleep mode/turn off, the sound
turn on automatically.

Is there a way to fix this, preferably without 3rd party program? I want my laptop to auto mute itself.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

We would suggest you to runt the Power troubleshooter and check.

Try to run the troubleshooter and check.

• Type Troubleshooting in the search box and hit
  Enter.
• Select View all from the left pane and select Power.
• Follow the on-screen troubleshooter and try the steps.

We would also suggest you to update the firmware of the BIOS and install the chipset drivers and check.
