Windows 10: No way to pin a url shortcut ?

Hello,I would like to run a Steam game in one click from the toolbar. I cannot run the game as is, Steam doesn't work like that ; I usually run a .url file to some steam://rungameid/[...] that appears as a shortcut on the desktop. I cannot pin this file in the toolbar. I cannot make a .lnk shortcut to this .url file. Any suggestions ?Thank you in advance for your time

Step 1: I suggest you to perform the below steps to add the apps on desktop.

• Click on the “Start button” and locate the App that you want to pin to Desktop.
• Right click on the “App” and click on “More options”.
• Then click on “Open File location” and right click on the app, click on “Send to” option.
• Then select “Desktop (Create shortcut)”.
• Go to “Desktop” and check whether the app is located or not.

Or Step 2: To add shortcuts to the desktop

• Press and hold or right-click the desktop, tap or click New, and then tap or click Shortcut.
• Enter the location of the item or tap or click Browse to find the item in File Explorer.

How to pin shortcut to start menu.

At first, you can create a shortcut in your Programs folder
(in a hidden folder C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs). The shortcut appears in
All apps list. Then you can pin it to Start menu / Taskbar as Mayank Gupta10 suggested.

The common way is to create a shortcut on the Desktop.
But the more elegant way is creating Custom toolbars.
