Windows 10: Windows 11 boots up with a black screen

My HP Laptop model 15-dy2035 boots up with a black sceen with no cursor or logo. The computer still has its boot up sounds and I think I can access opening up the computer past the login. It works as usual but has a black screen. I've tried:Hard reseting, Ctrl +Windows+Shift+B, Windows+b+power, Windows+q+Power, and other commands that are similar , accessing safe mode, and taking the battery out and keeping the computer on with the power cord in for 6 hours to check for updates.None of these work. Sometimes some make a beep sound or make the screen flash for a second but I am still stumped.

Sounds like the old... windows black screen of death.

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

I would suggest you try the power troubleshooter if you are able to boot into the system.

Follow the steps below.

• Press Windows key + W and type Troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting and click on System and Security.
• Click on Power and follow the onscreen steps.
