Windows 10: Why am I getting random lag spikes in Minecraft Bedrock.

I have had this laptop for 2 years now and I've been playing Minecraft on it for about the same length of time, It's never had performance issues up until about 3 days ago when suddenly I'm getting massive lag spikes that have even frozen the game for a couple of seconds.Below is a screenshot from the info page in settings.The game has never had a problem with running Bedrock even on fairly high quality presets. I've tried setting the application as a high priority, clearing my cache, freeing up space in my storage, lowering quality of the game to the point it now has smooth lighting off as s

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

How can I stop my games from getting random lag spikes?

I never used to get any lag when I used to play until I was gone for a vacation and came back to it getting random lag spikes. I also am connected through ethernet and have about 500 Mbps download and upload speeds.

 

Minecraft Bedrock Lagging My Internet

So I never really had a problem like this until recently. I'm on PC and play Minecraft Bedrock Edition so I can play with a friend that plays on Xbox. For the most part, we've been playing on a private world with nobody else and it was fine. A few days
ago, I suggested we start playing on servers (Mineplex, Hive, etc.). The servers are EXTREMELY laggy, and every time I go on them it kicks me with the message "Disconnected From Server". While I'm on the servers, the internet on my PC lags entirely. Discord
kicks me from calls, I can barely load websites, and more stuff like that. It stays this way until I close out Minecraft for good. This is happening now when I play on my singleplayer world too. Any ideas on how to fix this anyone??
