  1. Bluetooth speaker not detected as usable playback devices

Hi,When I connect my Xiaomi Sound Pocket Bluetooth speaker to my PC, the device pairs successfully, but it does not appear as a playback device. I have already updated the Bluetooth driver and checked the list of playback devices in the advanced sound settings the speaker is not listed. I have also removed and re-paired the speaker, but the issue remains.

    :)

Bluetooth speakers pair correctly, but are not detected as usable playback devices

I have two models of bluetooth speakers, a UE Mini Boom and a UE Roll. The UE Mini Boom paired correctly and I have been using it just fine until recently it stopped being detected as a usable playback device. I assumed something was wrong with the speaker
unit. I un-paired and re-paired the UE Mini Boom and that didn't fix the issue. I received a replacement UE Roll, and after successfully pairing the device with PC, I had a similar problem. The UE Roll speaker would show up marked as a "headphones" speaker,
but during Troubleshooting it would say it couldn't connect because there was no jack connected. I un-paired and re-paired the UE Roll, and now nothing labeled UE Roll shows up in the playback devices at all.

Troubleshooting each device individually from the "Devices and Printers" window results in "Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem".

I've already checked that both speaker units have updated drivers.

I've gotten both speakers to pair and playback successfully on my Android Phone.

I've gotten my PC sound to work when I plug a headset directly into to the audio jack.

  3. Bluetooth Speaker Not Detected as Playback Device

Sorry to bring this up again, Carlo, but I didn't see your message! Unfortunately the new installation didn't work either... It seems like the bluetooth speakers are connected, but "playback devices" still won't connect. When I click "manage sound devices" in settings--it looks like the speakers aren't registered as an output device. Any other ideas?

Bluetooth Speaker Not Detected as Playback Device

I've scoured countless existing articles on this subject and it seems like only a few people have had their problem resolved.

I am using a Lenovo laptop with intel core i7; it's a fairly modern spec'd computer.

Trying to connect to LG4550 external bluetooth speakers

Laptop connects successfully to my apple airpods.

I have reinstalled and updated drivers several times.

LG4550 appears in "playback" tab in the sound settings, but is stuck on disconnected and will not connect. I can't set it as a default device because it won't connect. The bluetooth settings show the speakers as connected, however, and the speakers also have a "connected" display. The computer and speakers appear to be communicating with each other, but my laptop doesn't appear to be registering the device as an audio device.

In the Device Manager, LG4550 is not appearing in "Audio inputs and outputs" when connected. There is LG CM4550(D6) and LG CM4550 (D6) Avrcp Transport appearing in bluetooth. If I scroll down to Sound, vido and game controllers, the LG CM4550(D6) Stereo also appears there. All devices "appear to be working properly"

However, if I go to Manage sound devices, the external speakers do not appear as a device there. What other troubleshooting steps can I do to try to get sound to play from my speakers? They have worked previously, and suddenly stopped working. This has happened on occasion, and after some weeks they randomly start working again whether an update has happened to Windows or not.
