Windows 11 - Touch Screen Calibration 1/2 There

Panasonic ToughBook CF-53 Attempting to use the touchscreen on my Panasonic CF-53, Windows 10 had no issues recognizing the touch display and allowing me to calibrate the screen using the internal calibration tool. However, with Windows 11, the internal calibration tool recognizes that I have a touch display because it allows me to identify it as such. However, it does not let me calibrate the digitizer at all. By default, the screen is very accurate in the middle, however, it loses accuracy exponentially towards the corners. I'm not too worried because I rarely use this as a touchscreen, just

Calibration Touch Screen in win 10

    Hi,

Welcome to Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated.

I would suggest you to try these Methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

I would suggest you to try the steps under the section “Calibrate your display” to perform color calibration in
Windows 10. Check if it helps.

    Method 2:

If the issue persists, I would suggest you to install latest touch screen drivers from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps. If Windows 10 drivers are not available in the computer manufacturer website, you may install the latest touch screen
    drivers in compatibility mode.

To install the Touch Screen Drivers in Compatibility Mode, I would suggest you to follow these steps.

  3. Touch screen responds on a different monitor

    Hello! You're welcome.

Please follow steps below to calibrate the touch screen:

    1. Go to Windows Settings (WinKey and search “Settings”) and search for “calibrate the screen for pen or touch input”.

    2. Click on “Setup” button.

    3. Touch the screen that you want to calibrate (in this case, screen2).

    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate the touch screen.

    5. Repeat steps 3-4 for any other screens that require calibration.

If the touch screen is still not responding correctly, try checking its alignment with the other screens:

    1. Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings."

    2. Select the touch screen (screen2) from the list of displays.

    3. Click on "Identify" to show a number on each screen that corresponds to its position.

    4. Drag and drop the screens in the correct order to align them with each other.

    5. Click on "Apply" to save the changes.

If none of these steps works, it may be worth contacting the touch screen manufacturer for further assistance. They may have additional troubleshooting steps or be able to provide a solution to the issue.

    Touch screen calibration

Windows 10 has a function to calibrate the touch function on the display.

    My questions are:

    1. What happens to the touch calibration data when a windows update occurs? Will the data be automatically transferred to the new version, or must a new calibration be made?

    2. In which file does Windows 10 store touch calibration data?

    3. Is it possible to copy / paste touch calibration data from a "old" Windows 10 version to a "new" Windows 10 version?
