Windows 10: [BUG] Cumulative Update KB5058499 Fails Repeatedly — Stuck at 8% / 46%, System Broken Even...

Hi Microsoft Team,I'm experiencing severe issues with the KB5058499 cumulative update on Windows 11 Home Edition. Cumulative Update Repeatedly Fails

A cumulative Windows update fails repeatedly to install. It asks me to quote:

2019-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4507435) -Error 0x80080008

Any ideas?

 

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3172985) stuck at 46%

I had installed Windows 10 over the weekend and it went on smoothly. Everything is working fine until I ran the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3172985). This update is getting downloaded and it gets stuck at 46%.
I have restarted my laptop and started the update again. It starts from 0% and then stops at 46% but the download continues in the background. I have a 50 Mbps broadband connection so it should have been downloaded by now.

I did a reset of the Windows Update components too but nothing seems to be working. Its been one and half days and it continues to be stuck at 46%. Please help !!!

• How are you trying to update Windows?
  
• Are you trying to update the computer from an older version of Windows like Windows 7 or Windows 8.1?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  

I would suggest you to try running the Windows Update troubleshooter and see if that helps. Refer the article

If the issue persists, I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the article

Troubleshoot problems updating Windows 10 and see if that helps.
