Thank you very much for reaching out! As an Independent Advisor and fellow Microsoft user, I'm more than happy to assist you.

Would you mind giving these steps a try and then informing me of the outcome?

    1. Update Your Graphics Drivers

Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can cause crashes and freezes. Visit your GPU manufacturer's website (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel) and download the latest drivers for your graphics card.

    2. Check for Windows Updates

Ensure your Windows 10 is up to date. Sometimes, updates include important patches that can improve system stability and compatibility with games.

    3. Run Memory Diagnostics

Since the error code indicates a memory management issue, running a memory diagnostic tool can help identify if your RAM is faulty:

    • Press Windows + R, type mdsched.exe, and press Enter.
    • Choose to restart and check for problems immediately.
    4. Check for Corrupted System Files

Use the System File Checker (SFC) and Deployment Imaging Service and Management Tool (DISM) to repair corrupted system files:

    • Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
    • Run sfc /scannow and wait for the process to complete.
    • Run DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.
    5. Analyze the Dump File

Analyzing the minidump file can provide more insights into what is causing the crash:

    • Download and install WinDbg from the Microsoft Store.
    • Open WinDbg, select "File" > "Start debugging" > "Open dump file," and navigate to the location of your minidump file (C:\WINDOWS\Minidumps\060724-19265-01.dmp).
    • Use the command !analyze -v to get a detailed analysis of the crash.
    • Or you can upload it to OneDrive for example and share the file link here so I can look into it for you.
    6. Lower In-Game Settings

Sometimes, high graphics settings can cause instability. Try lowering the graphics settings in XDefiant to see if it improves stability.

    7. Disable Overlays and Background Applications

Overlays from applications like Discord or GeForce Experience can sometimes cause crashes. Disable these overlays and close unnecessary background applications to free up system resources.

    8. Check for Hardware Issues

Ensure that your hardware components, such as the GPU and RAM, are properly seated and not overheating. Clean any dust from your PC and ensure adequate cooling. You can stress test them to see if they're overheating/crashing.

    9. Perform a Clean Boot

A clean boot can help determine if background applications are causing the issue:

    • Press Windows + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.
    • Go to the Services tab, check "Hide all Microsoft services," and then click "Disable all."
    • Go to the Startup tab and click "Open Task Manager."
    • Disable all startup items and restart your PC.
    10. Consider a System Restore

If the issue started recently, you might want to perform a system restore to a point before the problem began:

    • Type "Create a restore point" in the Windows search box and open it.
    • Click "System Restore" and follow the prompts to restore your system to an earlier state.
Please feel free to reach out if you require any additional assistance. I'm here to help!

The error code you provided indicates a permissions issue related to the Windows Security Center. This error is logged when the system does not have the necessary permissions to launch a specific COM server application.

This error typically occurs when the system's security settings prevent a specific application or service from launching due to insufficient permissions. The CLSID (Class ID) and APPID (Application ID) refer to specific components or applications that require permission to run.

    Steps to Resolve the Error:

    1. Open Component Services:
      • Press Windows + R, type dcomcnfg, and press Enter. This will open the Component Services management console.
    2. Navigate to DCOM Config:
      • In the left pane, expand Component Services > Computers > My Computer > DCOM Config.
    3. Locate the CLSID:
      • Scroll through the list to find the application with the CLSID Windows.SecurityCenter.WscDataProtection. If the exact name is not listed, you may need to look for a related entry
    4. Modify Permissions:
      • Right-click on the application and select Properties.
      • Go to the Security tab.
      • Under Launch and Activation Permissions, click Edit.
      • Add the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM and grant it Local Launch and Local Activation permissions.
    5. Apply and Restart:
      • Apply the changes and restart your computer to ensure the new settings take effect.
The second error message you mentioned indicates an issue with Secure Boot not being enabled. Ensure that Secure Boot is enabled in your BIOS/UEFI settings if your system supports it. This can help prevent unauthorized software from running during the boot process.

    To enable Secure Boot:

    1. Enter BIOS/UEFI Settings:
      • Restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing a key like F2, F10, DEL, or ESC during startup).
    2. Enable Secure Boot:
      • Navigate to the Boot or Security tab.
      • Find the Secure Boot option and set it to Enabled.
    3. Save and Exit:
      • Save your changes and exit the BIOS/UEFI settings.
Could you kindly please follow the steps outlined and keep me updated on your progress?

Freezing completely and forced to hard restart my PC while gaming on a good gaming setup!

Thanks, i havent got any BSOD but instead i got another freeze which forced me to hard restart the pc, I got the following error code right before the crash:
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Launch permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

    Windows.SecurityCenter.WscDataProtection

    and APPID

    Unavailable

to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

I also often see this before crashing:
The Secure Boot update failed to update a Secure Boot variable with error Secure Boot is not enabled on this machine.. For more information, please see Secure Boot DB and DBX variable update events - Microsoft Support

Can you tell me anything about the first error code?
