Windows 10: My brand new cd burner no longer works

I bought a Sandstrom CD/DVD writer 4 days ago. It burned the first two HP CD-RW discs perfectly however on the 3rd I moved my CD burner up onto a shelf, lengthening the connection between it and my laptop, and since then it's been bust. It recognised the discs fine and pended all the tracks really quickly, however that put it up to a ~99% completed burn which is incorrect, and proceeded to get stuck on writing the first track onto the disc. External CD player/burner

I have connected via USB a new CD burner. I can rip music, but it won't let me burn (Connect a burner and restart the player). I've tried all of the suggestions, but it's not working.

 

CD Writer no longer works

Hello,

My external Liteon CD Writer no longer works.

It starts to record, then ejects the CDs.

I have tried CD Burner XP as well as Windows Media Player and various makes of CD.

It works OK on other Computer and has worked fine on this HP Computer until just recently.

Could anybody suggest a solution please?

media player cd burner

After a power loss, my media player cd burner is no longer working. Initially, i got the message to connect a burner, Now it tells me that the disk is filled. How do I fix this? Thanks in advance.
