Windows 10: Black screen w/ dash, box, and X in the left corner

I go to boot up my laptop when all I get is just a black screen with three symbols in the top-left corner, powering it off and on does not work, and nor does my mousepad or bluetooth mouse, the bar disappears after a minute or so and then is just a blank black screen

Flashing black box in upper left corner

Immediately after upgrading to Windows 10 I have experienced the appearance of a flashing black box in the upper left corner of the screen. It seems to appear about once to several times a minute and is extremely annoying to the point I 'm considering
going back to Windows 8.1. It flashes on and off quickly. The Microsoft representative told me to be patient and he assured me there will be an update soon to correct these bugs. Has anyone else experienced this momentary flashing black box in the upper left
corner which appears regardless of what I'm doing? Also can't enable screen saver since Windows 10 download?

 

Since Win10 now some docs do not respond to the upper right corner symbols. Dash - Size box Close Doc X

I also have to add that this is happening when I am in my E-mail manager, Thunderbird. The pages do not respond to the Dash Box X marks at the top left corner of the docs.

Almost all programs display a dash in the upper right corner of a page close the document on the screen, but leaving it in the memory to recall at a click.

And a small box or double box to switch to a previously smaller size or full screen.

And an X to close the file completely.

Since Installing Win10, many pages do not respond to clicking on these shortcuts. I have to right-click and choose a menu item. ???

Can it be fixed?
