Microsoft does more downgrading than upgrading

I just tried setting up a PC we bought for my mother that uses Windows 11.I already know she will have too much trouble using it.I'm not sure how much of it is Dell, and how much is Windows 11.It requires both a Microsoft login and a PIN.My mother already didn't understand what I meant by PIN when she asked to borrow my smartphone. The main issue for now with Windows 11 is being unable to pin files or folders to the taskbar. My mother will be unable to find pictures on our external SSD the way she might on her Windows 10 PC. [She doesn't even know how to change what view the folders are in

Downgrading from a pirated Windows OS

You've already mangled your existing operating system by upgrading to a pirated version of Windows 10. Use your Windows 8.1 disk to do a new installation of your original Windows 8.1 operating system. If you have saved the product key from your original Windows 8.1 operating system, then use that product key again to install Windows 8.1.

You can downgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 8, by following the instructions in the answers to this question: How can I downgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 8?. Why not downgrade the pirated Windows 10 to Windows 8 instead and then change the product key and upgrade legally back to Windows 10? There are two reasons for not doing it this way:

    1. Your new Windows 10 can inherit problems from the pirated version of Windows 10.
    2. It's a two-step process to install Windows 8.1 and upgrade to Windows 10 instead of a four-step cumulative history: Windows 8.1 -> pirated Windows 10 -> downgrade pirated Windows 10 to Windows 8.1 -> upgrade to Windows 10. Even though the two-step method doesn't save any time, it still eliminates two unnecessary steps.

  3. Advanced Appearance Settings Dialog Box for Windows 10 - Build 21H1

    Final steps:

    • Wait to Microsoft to hear your request,
    • or Downgrade to Windows 7 but you have vulnerable to viruses.

    Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
