  2. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

  3. Programs restarting in background processes of task manager

I have many programs restart in the background processes of task manager. I close them out, and after a while they are there again. I do not know why these programs are running in the background, and why they are returning. These are some of them that
    keep coming back

    Settings

    Weather

    Photos

    Movies & TV

I keep removing them by using the "End Task" and they seem to return for no reason.

Unable to end background processes in task manager

Hi, My name is Ahmet, and I am an Independent Advisor. I hope you're well, I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. I'd be more than happy to assist you.

Running as Administrator: Try running Task Manager as administrator. To do this, before opening Task Manager, right-click and select "Run as administrator".

Other Methods: Try other methods to terminate background processes in Task Manager. For example, you can right-click the process and select "End task".

Closing the Ubisoft Connect or Uplay Client: If the problem is caused by the Ubisoft Connect or Uplay client running in the background, try closing these clients. Usually, these clients will have a small icon in the system tray, and you can close them by right-clicking "Exit" or "Close".

Restarting the Computer: If you are unable to terminate processes running in the background and your gaming experience is affected, try restarting your computer.

Let me know how it goes and hopefully it will help.

    Have a wonderful day.

    Yours sincerely,

    Ahmet
