Windows 10: Internet browsers not working

My pc has internet connection and can use the internet to do things like play games. However, I am unable to access the internet through any browser such as brave, opera gx, or Microsoft edge. I am even unable to access Microsoft support through browsers. Whenever I search something whether a url directly or just anything at all I get the following message. “The connection for this site is not secure” followed but the “website url here sent an invalid response” and the third line is “ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR”. Quotation marks are used to indicate direct text from internet browser. My device is

As a work around, I suggest you to browse the Internet on Internet Explorer/EDGE as you are able to browse internet on these browsers.

Kindly follow the below step and check if it helps.

Try to change the settings on the Internet Explorer and check if it helps.

1) Open Internet Explorer on the desktop.

2) Click on Tools icon option on the top right corner.

3) Select Internet Options from the list.

4) Click on Connection tab.

5) Click on LAN Settings.

6) Check the box which says “Automatically detect settings ".

Error: "Internet Explorer is not responding" and "Website not responding" while accessing the browser on Windows 10

As Windows 10 as Microsoft Edge in-built browser, I suggest you to try that browser and check if this issue persists.

For the issues with Internet Explorer try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run the Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter.

• Press Windows key, type troubleshooting
  and select it.
• Click on View all in the left pane.
• Click onInternet Explorer Performance and follow the onscreen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to turn off and on Internet Explorer and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows + R, type Control Panel
  and hit Enter.
• Click on Programs and Features.
• Click on Turn Windows features on or off from the left pane.
• Uncheck Internet Explorer, click on Ok.
• Restart the computer and repeat the same as above to place a check mark on Internet Explorer.
