Windows 10: Windows magnifier not working black screen shows in lens and docked modes

I've tried various fixes suggested online but nothing has worked. The magnifier works in full screen mode but not in docked/lens modes. The magnifier application opens but in the panel where the magnification usually displays, the screen is black.I'm using:Windows 11ASUS Vivobook laptop X1605VA_X1605VAdisplay adapter: intelR irisR Xe Graphics processor: 13th Gen IntelR CoreTM i5-1335U 12 CPUs, ~1.3GHz

The magnifier lens and docked mode are just black

Whenever I try to use the magnifier in the Lens or Docked view, it's black. It does show the window where it's supposed to show the magnified output around the cursor but the actual view is black and I have no idea why.

 

Windows Magnifier Lens or Docked appear completely black

My Windows 10 Magnifier in Lens or Docked mode appear completely black. In Full Screen mode however everything appears normal, magnified or not.

It is not an Invert Color situation: that is unchecked, but even checked it shows the same. In these modes the Magbnifier is pitch black: no text nor pictures/layout is showing. Changing the magnification to 100% does not help.

The screen resolution is set to 1920x1080 (text size: 175%). Changing the resolution and text size to recommended does not does not affect this. Color Filters and High Contrast are off. Windows is up to date.

This is quite disturbing as I have an eye distrophy.

Please help me with this.

Magnifier full screen works fine. Using the LENS mode, the lens window is BLACK.
