Windows 10: Blank screen

My laptop has refused to open. I forgot the password but then when I tried to change, it sent a message to the authenticator which I input and ever since the screen has remained black and cannot turn on or off. The cursor can be seen moving but the screen has refused to open.

See if you can boot to the BIOS using the information in this link:

Screen goes blank after changing BIOS settings/

I don't know how long this has been happening, a few weeks at least, but whenever I change a setting in my BIOS (and save & exit), my screen goes blank and my monitor goes into standby. Any suggestions to fix this?
