Windows 10: I provided the pin wrong only once but it made me wait for 2 hours for serval failed sign...

I only typed the pin wrong once but it made me wait for 2 hours because of multiple failed sign in attempts. can i know a way to open it. I have tried the method Use the Hidden Administrator Account and Force Restart and Try Safe Mode

Forced to wait 2 hours to sign in every time I power my laptop on

I can only tell you what worked for me on an Insider build.

I was using a PIN to sign-in to windows. I got the same message and waited 2 hours, I was advised to change it to a password sign-in and use that for a few days.

I did and it never faltered so I then changed back to using a PIN (using the same PIN as previously) and it has not failed since. That was last year.

 

Sign in randomly disabled (no failed pins or repeated shutdowns) it’s been two days and it still says to wait 2 hours.

“Sign in disabled because of failed sign in attempt a repeated shut downs.” The message says to wait two hours and try again. This is on a desktop computer that does not shut down, and I’ve been getting this message for two days. I can access my account because I have Face ID. My son can’t use his account because he just has password. We DO know our pins. But pin options are still unavailable. No one entered an incorrect pin. This error message just appeared and won’t go away.

 

Pin entered incorrect... Wait 2 hours

We keep getting the error message that the pin was entered incorrectly too many times, but I KNOW the pin I am entering is correct...

When I try to change my pin it says that it will send a code to my email... And no code ever comes. We have waited the 2 hours and still get the same error.
