    Frozen windows 5-10 mins after start/login.


    My windows is freezing 5-10 minutes after start. When I start my computer it load windows normally. I login with my password and start working as usual. Within 5-10 minutes the computer freezes mouse, screen, keyboard everything.. I can’t do anything other than hold the power button and force a restart. It started doing this after doing a windows update earlier today. If I start the computer on safe mode it doesn’t freeze. Help please! I need my computer for work!

    5 min delay on cold start between login screen and bg screen

    Ok, let the powershell command run overnight
    If the command didn't solve the problem, the try these steps in order:

    1. Disable superfetch service
      • Empty the following folder c:\Windows\Prefetch\
      • Restart the computer
      • Si ça ne marche pas, passer à l'étape 2;
    2. Disable the AppXSvc from the registry: change the "Start" key value from 3 to 4 (see the screenshot)

    This command didn't go through, as

    I'll disable now those two other (AppX Deployment Service and Readyboost) and see if that makes difference.
