Windows 10: I'm doing my initial setup on my Dell.Inspiring 3910 right after I selected english.And yes...

I am just now doing my initial setup on my brand new Dell inspiring 3910 even though it is 2 and 1/2 years old, I just plugged it in and I'm starting with the first instruction is my language english. I selected. Yes, the black box will not go away and I cannot continue with any of the other questions. How do I get rid of this black box in the middle of my screen? That says english.

64-bit OS x64-based processor

Running Windows 8.1

The upgrade tool says, "We're validating Windows 10 for your PC." This is the message since the beginning of August.

• Open MSN.com on your Web Browser
• Click on Settings on the top right corner
• Select CHANGE LANGUAGE AND CONTENT
• Select English

USB ports do not work on initial setup after restore

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it fixes the issue.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2:

You may try to uninstall and reinstall the USB drivers in Windows compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Follow the steps to uninstall the USB drivers:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
• In Device Manager, double click to expand "Universal Serial Bus controllers".
• Right click on the Host Controller, click "Uninstall" and click "OK".
• Select the option to Delete driver software.
• Uninstall all items under "Universal Serial Bus controllers".
• Restart the computer after its uninstalled.

Now download the drivers the manufacturer website and install it in Windows compatibility mode. Follow the steps provided below to install the drivers in compatibility mode:

• Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.
• Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for “and select Windows 8.1 operating system from the drop down.
• Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
