Windows 10: charger is not working

I have a problem that have been happening for a month. when i use my charger, it doesnt charge, and sometimes shut down automatically. it stays at 0% most of time, and its highest is 6%. when i try any other charger it works. i tried troubleshooting but still didnt work. is there anyway i can fix this?

I see that your Nokia Lumia charger stopped working. We suggest that you try the following:

• Verify that your charger is working, try the charger with another compatible phone.
• Restart your phone, if that does not help push and pull the charger plug gently with your fingers. If this helps, check the charger connector for any dust or dirt.
• If available, use a compatible USB cable and connect it your PC.

NOT WINDOWS external charger

The model number of the phone is not really significant, it's just a quick way to find out the part number of the battery inside. The charger is designed for a specific battery number. If that is the number of your battery then the charger should work correctly, whether of not your phone is listed as a supported device.

 

Universal charger

I was wondering if getting a universal charger a bad idea. We have 4 Windows 10 machines and 2 Chomebooks. All require different chargers. I am considering getting a universal charger so that I can reduce the clutter a bit. Would you suggest against it? If not, any reputable charger anyone would recommend? Thanks in advance.
