Windows 10: My Gigabyte G5 KF5 Laptop won't start after the latest windows update.

Good day, my laptop wont start booting after the latest update. It just stuck in the logo. I tried resetting bios, changing ssd, removing and placing the ram nothing works. What seems to be the problem?

I didn't understand what you meant.

The driver I suggested is for the model "G5 KE". Is this your PC model?

On the Gigabyte website, I noticed that there are also the models "G5 ME" and "G5 GE".

 

Windows 10 won´t start any program as Administrator

Hello. I´m having this issue since installed one of the latest Windows 10 system updates.

When I try to open any program that requires Administrator confirmation (that screen with the Yes/No question), this dialog won´t appear anymore. The screen background stays darkened and nothing happens.

1. Using Windows 10 Home (x64)
2. My microsoft user account is properly checked
3. I´m the administrator of the PC
4. Already tried do create another administrator user account - same problem, no success
5. Cannot start any program/service that requires administrator authorization (not even regedit)

Please help!

 

Gigabyte G5 - Laptop Loses Sound At 35% Battery

I have a Gigabyte G5 RTX30 series laptop, on Windows 10. As long as I have had the laptop, I had an issue where the sound on the laptop would randomly cut out and I could only get it back by restarting the laptop. I had no idea what was causing it until I came across the above thread and started paying attention to the battery level and yes, this is happening when the laptop is not plugged into the mains, and when the battery level gets down to 35%.

Following the advice in the previous thread: There is only one Gigabyte app installed and it is "Gigabyte Smart USB Backup". Windows is up to date. I did uninstall Niamhic but the issue still persists. This is such a frustrating issue, and nothing to do with the age of the laptop since it has happened since it was brand new and this was still an issue! No idea what software is causing it.
