Windows 10: Problem installation Windows 11 on Nvme

UPDATE: After countless tests I did for thoroughness, I tried installing Windows 11 on a SATA SSD and the installation worked and completed successfully, while on NVMe drives it continues to give me the problems I describe below.Hi everyone, I've been trying to do a clean installation of Windows 11 on my PC for two days now. I currently have Windows installed on a very old SATA SSD and I wanted to download and install Windows 11 on a new NVMe SSD that I bought specifically for this purpose.I followed the instructions, downloaded the tool onto a USB drive and created the installation media. windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows 11 install process not recognizing NVMe drive

Dear Support team,

I have installed a new computer with a Samsung 980PRO Nvme drive. The drive is recognized in the UEFI bios.

When I launch the Window11 installer there is no driver available to continue installation. In the Command Line

window I have set the Nvme drive with diskpart to MBR. But still the drive is not shown to the Windows installation

program.

I looked to find drivers, took those of the Intel website for Nvme/Windows 11, but they are not compatible,

the Windows 11 does not accept them. I couldn't find anything about Drivers for Samsung Nvmes on the

Samsung website.

Do you have any suggestions what I can do to get this working?

Windows 10 installer don't detect NVMe drive

I have 2 drives:

• disk1 (SATA SSD, with Ubuntu 16.04)
  • partition1 (sda1: flag /boot)
  • partition2 (sda2: flag /home, encrypted by LUKS)
• disk2 (NVMe SSD)

So, the goal is to install Windows 10 on disk2 and boot it from GRUB (which is on sda1).

What is the problem ?

In disk-choose step, disk2 is missing. However Ubuntu 14.04 installer "see" this disk, so I assume that is software issue, rather than my hardware.

What I tried to solve this problem ?

• loaded Samsung NVMe drivers from this thread
• patched Windows image using DISM tool by adding 2 updates. I followed this guide
• tried to run Windows 10 installed on USB stick to install it

All of them failed.

Please help me to solve this issue.
